Lets get away from that national band stuff (Pavement) and go back to local music. I’m not sure how well we conveyed how cool it was to watch one person (Abram) put together such big sounds using a fairly simple setup. So why don’t you just watch it happen yourself. Eight is a great song that starts off a nice bass-line, builds a kind of ambient tension, and then explodes with drums. Very cool and original music. If you like this video then go back and download our episode with him if you haven’t already. Enjoy!
Flash player for podcast three!
Number three is here to stay punks! We stopped by the Friendly Square to record loopmaster Abram Taber. The recording was so good that we decided to play the music before Meg, Colin, and I blab on about bands reuniting. Meg lays the smack down, if you retire, you should stay retired. Meanwhile, we had a chat with Abram at the Tavern At the End Of The World. He gave us a little music history and a ton of bands in the city we should look out for. Al Polk makes a surprise appearance at the end of our conversation. Check it, we are on fiyah! Tell your friends too. We should all experience this together.

Set List: Six, Stay Warm, Beacon, Forget Me Naught
NOTE. We understand, the podcast is long but who said you have to listen to every part of it!
NOTE2. Abram’s stuff gets loud so watch your ears if you’re listening on earphones. Maybe I should have mixed it better. Screw it, just turn down your IPod.

PS EFFING TYPOS!
Hey everyone,
Thanks for supporting local music. Episode number three should be out real soon. I’ll tease that shit now, the music sounds great. We’re going to front-load the music a little more on this one because that is what this show is about right? Don’t worry fans of Meg, she’ll still be cranky but after Abram plays a few songs first. Our ‘interview’ with Abram at the Tavern At The End Of The World sounds good too besides all of ass kissing Colin and I managed to do. We got to work on that… So get ready, I’ve spotted the landing.
Ted
P.S. Another good local music podcast/ radio show just got on facebook as well Pipeline! They’ve been at this longer then we have so be fans of them too.
Colin and I recorded Abram Taber tonight. He manages to sounds like all of Sonic Youth and a vocal choir all at once… by himself! Its mind blowing to see it in person. We’ll edit it down as soon as possible and post it. After his show, we saw Ladderlegs. That is some good damn stuff. They are bringing badass guitar music back to Boston. Their music might fall apart at any moment but somehow doesn’t. I mean that as a complement. They finished off their set with rocking Motown covers. I bought their CD and they said they’d come on the podcast sometime too. See them now! Their myspace page is here.
We’re working to make this site look better and to make our communication better. The one thing we got nailed down is awsome guests. Stay tuned for episode two with the Freeways and Episode 3 with Abram Taber
